EZee tag, a unique system from Transmark Fcx, takes the collection, storage and use of data to a new level and incorporates the proven technology of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Data) and combines it with WiFi^®, GPS (Global Positioning System) and handheld devices to deliver a powerful yet flexible and cost effective solution.

EZee Tag uses a robust hand-held device that can be operated in the field to capture/record information at the workface. The handset, which is also able to take inputs from other devices (such as leak detection equipment) to avoid manual intervention, is then synchronised automatically with the master database keeping records fully updated. EZee Tag can interface with existing databases or alternatively operate through a web based hosted system.

By integrating valve tracking techniques developed through the distribution chain, with systems currently used by end-users and combining them with the latest technology, the EZee tag system provides numerous opportunities for plant operators to streamline their maintenance operations and enhance their effectiveness.

EZee tag also indexes the information which is necessary to ensure compliance with the need for better document tracking as laid down in Pressure Equipment Regulations (PER) and the ATEX directive.
